Web Development Portfolio
New
Wave Aquaria
While attending St. Cloud State University, this web site was one of
my first independent projects. A met a client with her own small business
and a strong desire to expand its client base. We collaborated on the
content and design to come up with something we thought would best fit
the needs of her business. It was a fun project and I enjoyed working
on it.

Hearts
of Hope Radio Auction
I was approached by a Kiwanis International
member to create this auction site for a one-time only charity event.
Being involved in a Kiwanis branch during high school (Key
Club), I accepted and developed this site. Due to the support of several
radio stations, the St. Cloud Times, the Salvation Army, and many other
local businesses, we were able to exceed our charity fundraising goals.

InjusticeUnveiled.com
This was another one of my first independent projects, developed as an
archive of events and to inform the public (as well as those in the medical,
law enforcement, and criminal justice fields) about how to treat people
with mental illnesses. Although the web site has not been updated in some
time, I know the clients continue to push ahead on behalf of those individuals
with mental illnesses.

OurWish.com
This site had an interesting premise as a wedding registry, but instead
of registering for gifts, guests would contribute to a down-payment for
a new house in the couple's name. Although I merely worked on the back-end
of this project, it was enjoyable.

Quadrinity Corp.
Together with my great and long-time friend, Michael
Frey, this site was developed for the state-wide Web Development Team
event of Business Professionals of America
in 2001. It was our first major foray into PHP server-side coding (Mike
had experience in ASP already) and was a great learning experience. We
undoubtedly spent hundreds of hours on this project and came away with
First Place at the state competition.
Due
to a server migration (a different host altogether) and a lack of time,
some previously working functions of the site do not work now. But you
can still visit what is left of the example site, Quadrinity
Corp!
